Captivated by the experience of learning, William chose to study in Rome to join the tradition of architecture students learning from the Eternal City. In addition to being a student of architecture, William has dedicated much of his personal time to studying biology, craftsman skills, antiquities, botany, and art. William’s professional experience includes serving as an apprentice bookbinder and leather worker at Distinctive Book Binding, as well as serving as an acolyte at The National Shrine. During the summer of 2014 William was invited to be a Junior Fellow at the Library of Congress  in Washington DC. There he worked with the Music Division through his research in the Preservation and Conservation Divisions. With his broad range of interests William hopes to engage the city of Rome beyond the eye and grow in his experiences.
